I've always had Volvo's, BMW's and Audi's etc and so when I bought my 2016 Ford Kuga Sport I really wasn't expecting much and it was a bot of a stop gap having recently sold my Volvo XC70. I wouldn't have bought a Ford but the local Ford Dealer had a ridiculous offer which was to good to pass up. I have now had this car for almost 2 years and I can say that it's probably the best cat that I've ever had. It's not perfect and there are some features that are annoying but overall it's really good. It pulls very strongly with bags of torque and really is fun to drive. It's also fairly quite and economical too. I recently had a test drive in a Skoda Karoq which seems to be in flavour at the moment. I found it really dull with a boring interior to match it's outward appearance with really lack lustre performance. I also had a similar experience in a Seat Ateca and although the performance was acceptable it certainly wasn't exciting. I have the feeling that the quality of the reviews received by some vehicles recently is in direct proportion to the freebies offered to motoring journalist!!

I have had this car for a year now and it has proved to be one of the best cars I have owned. I get about 50 mpg general motoring, and on long runs 70mpg. There is always power there when I need it and the comfort is second to none. The times I have needed space for luggage/ trips to the tip etc the "boot" is more than adequate. So far it hasn't needed any garage maintenance apart from servicing.

A comfortable, reliable and good looking vehicle. Great for carrying the odd bulky item; and a nice ride for 4 to 5 passengers! Powerful and responsive 2 litre diesel engine giving good acceleration and a smooth motorway drive, with cruise control and other clever accessories to make the driving of this vehicle a real pleasure.

My only complaints so far is boot is a little small considering size of car. Tyre pressure sensors have been intermittent and fitting tow bar meant boot could not be opened hands free as bar blocked sensor.

The fuel costs are well in excess of the manufacturers advertised MPG. everyday costs are not reflected in their assessment of MPG which is a third lower than advertised.

Great tow car and general all round work horse.

This is our second Titanium Kuga and principally bought to tow a 1450 kg caravan as well as a general run around. Powerful and comfortable and currently averaging 37 mpg after 20,000 miles including towing to south of France and around Scotland. Good level of visibility from high seats, good level of sound proofing, good level of toys - cruise, dual climate control, auto headlights, DAB radio etc but dash a bit fiddly and quite a small boot although lowering/raising rear seats simple. Reasuring to know the 4x4 is 'on demand' when needed and is usually in 2 wd mode. Would I buy another - probably if I'm still caravanning otherwise may be time to downsize.

I Purchased this car to replace a ageing Vauxhall Zafira. I tow a caravan and found the Kuga to be far superior to the Vauxhall for towing. It out performs the Zafira in ride comfort, fuel economy, and performance. The engine is smooth and brisk, and pulls the caravan with no problems. I would recommend this car to anyone.

Very pleased with the Kuga. Very comfortable, easy to drive, and good equipment. Only two things which bug me. The first, is the fuel consumption is way more than the manufacturers fiqures. Why can't the government test these and publish them? Second, is the rear retractable shelf. This is something most, if not all owners complain about, and appears to be an after thought on Ford's behalf. It neither reaches the back of the rear seats, nor the tailgate, leaving gaps for passers-by to see what contents are in your boot. Looks as though Ford have taken it from other model, and dropped it in with looking to see whether it fits. Otherwise, I love it.

Lovely car, with ware and tare as you would expect from its age. Nice drive and postive steering. Can't rate running cost and reliability as only had it a few days. Hoping the dealer will help out on a few points.

First gear is a bit sticky and I've stalled a few times more than I should've done! Otherwise the car is brilliant - very comfortable on long journeys, cruises at 75 mph effortlessly and with reverse parking camera is relatively easy to park. We have a small dog and the boot could be larger to fit his cage and luggage when there are four passengers. Fuel economy is good. I would and am buying another!

I love the extra height the car gives me, especially when driving on motorways. The car is responsive when it needs to be, holds the road well as it has all wheel drive, and generally is a pleasure to drive.down side of the four wheel drive is the fuel economy which is perhaps not as good as I might have expected from a diesel at around 35-40mpg

New Kuga rides, handles better and is quieter than the older model. The instrument panel is now state of the art, with a much more modern look and feel, with the full Ford sync system, which operates very well. Only down side is that there is nowhere to store a standard European first aid box, which now floats around in the boot (the old one had a specific underfloor storage for it). The 2 litre turbo diesel is torquey and pulls well, returning and average 42 mpg (according to the trip computer)with the 6 speed manual gearbox.

Smallish boot, perky engine, duel clutch not clever to recognise deceleration followed by acceleration again without selecting correct gear

Very few moans but : Deisel engine means I must remember to 'give it some welly' from a standing start - has been known to stall. Gear stick surround is a bad design, skirt keeps coming off and now frame has snapped. Needs stronger support. Radio occasionally cuts out and back in when I go over a bump. Have never mastered 'split' boot door opening, just too stiff for me with arthritic hands. Fantastic over road humps and rough roads as 4 x 4 takes over. Feels safe and solid and is surprisingly economic for a car that size [32-35 mpg on long runs]

Very pleased with my white 2010 Ford Kuga, bought second-hand a year and a half ago. Comfortable to drive and good road holding. Relatively good value for money with useful extras such as rear view parking screen, rear and front parking bleepers, cruise control and heated front seats. Drawbacks - are that the darkened rear windows make reversing in the dark very difficult. Also, the computer screen isn't easy to work, eg: the Bluetooth phone function and sat nav are complicated to set. The full length glass roof is good, though I miss not being able to open it, having always enjoyed having an open sunshine roof in all my previous cars. All in all I fully recommend the Kuga, and I definitely think it is one of the best looking cars on the road.
