Wink Cars began in February 2021, when Joanna saw a gap in the market for a female ran car dealership, so I approached Jodie with the idea to come on board.
We met 8 years ago playing football together for Stourbridge Ladies and our friendship developed from there. We began selling cars from the back of an Industrial estate in West Bromwich for the first 12 months. Then as we grew we needed more space so in August 2022, we moved to a new site, a 30 car pitch in Tipton.
Since then we have organically grown and recently won a competition hosted by Simply Business, ‘Empowering Women in Business’ winning an exclusive one to one mentorship session with Baroness Karren Brady. On the back of that we have appeared on BBC WM radio, a feature in SME Magazine and also the Express and Star.
