Recently, on 3 occasions I have experienced a flat battery and have since learned that I have a 12 volt battery under the rear seat. I have also found out that I need to drive longer distances to keep this charged. It was made clear at the time of purchase that this car was for local journeys on the expectation that it would be reliable and eco-friendly. At no time was it explained to me that it really was not suitable for those needs. Getting a response from Toyota has been slow and only adds to my disappointment in the vehicle when their solution has been to recommended the use of a trickle charger or solar battery charger to overcome theses difficulties. I have previously own a petrol Yaris and loved it.

I have travelled 15,000k in my 2019 new ZR, 7,000k between it's first service and this one. I've been stung with an $800 bill for new front tyres that wouldn't pass a WOF. Alignment all fine and they didn't check the pressure before replacing them. Apparently it's due to it being a 'performance car'. Neither Toyota or Albany Toyota would change there stance on it being down to lack of maintenance or driver style. I had my last ZR for 5 years without a problem. Appalling service.

We bought this car new and have had it 15 years and it’s done 170,000 miles and for what we paid in running costs and servicing etc it was fantastic. It has had no major faults so would always buy another toyota

Had this for 12 years. Goes well and quite pleased..it's low mileage even after 12 years. No complaints..It goes... Wind noise does not bother me..I have no need to use it as a removal van like some people...all in all..its a car..it goes..it has been no trouble..it does its job..gets me from A to B.

The car was purchased but it is noted that in your advert the mileage is displayed as 11,487 whereas according to the merchant it is 10,360 miles is there any reason for this discrepancy? We would be interested in your confirming why the seeming discrepancy. We are pleased with the service offered by the trader Steven Eagell Autos Northampton.

Great card in terms of efficiency and performance. Reliable and relatively cheap to maintain. Well impressed with the amount of space inside. Especially like the idea of all the compartments, cup holders etc. On a negative note, not the most comfortable car for a long journey.

Having only owned this car for a number of weeks it's not fair to comment in great depth. It's a nice little car, which is proving to be reliable (as I expect from Toyota) the choice was based on reliability and economy. I have however found the 1300 cc engine underpowered for this part of the world with lots of hills and as such the fuel consumption does not give me what was expected, but that is life.

I feel that my car is reasonable value for money. Running costs and performance are as good as I expected.

Small enough to park, nippy enough to drive longer distances, comfortable enough with air-conditioning for those uncomfortable weather conditions. Reliable enough for a second-hand motor.

Great little car

I have driven this car to the Artic circle 2 years ago have had my daughter pass her test in it and this year it went to Armenia via Georgia and if you think our roads are bad ! All I have done is have it serviced and one spring replaced in the 6 years i have enjoyed driving it and at present 120,000 miles and it is great on fuel.

The only criticism I have is that with a three door it is the access to the rear seats is difficult . Myself and all my friends are over 75 yrs old. For myself the drive access to the drivers seat is OK.

i have had this car from new. so it is 12 years old. apart from replacement of tyres, brake pads. at mots, a lovely reliable comfortable, low cost car. the seats are very comfortable and as the car is a bit higher from the ground as are not in many other cars, is very easy to get in and out of, as we are now in our 70's. We keep it garaged so is in very good condition. It just doesnt like hills very much!!!!!

we have had this car for 10 years now and with very little running cost which is crucial when on a budget so reliability gets top marks. we paid a bit more than other auto at the time well worth it.

Our 3rd Yaris. This model exceeds all our needs, mainly local with occasional longer trips. The turning circle is less than before ?bigger engine. We have not mastered all the extras yet but coming to terms with the silence of the battery drive! The collision avoidance worked well when in a queue began to move and the car in front suddenly braked. My reaction plus the system stopped the car instantly.

Had this car 6 years and it has never let me down. Most reliable car I have ever had.

I've had my Yaris from new. It's easy to drive, comfortable, reliable. I'm going to continue to drive it until it drops!

Fun to drive, efficient, economical. Easy to maintain, easy to park, quick off the mark.

Reliable, inexpensive car to run. Excellent for town and suburbs. Perhaps not so responsive on the motorway when excellerating.
